Doors Are Opening for Abram Mashele

The South African U17 Men’s national Team (Amajimbos) have reported for camp at the SAFA National Technical Centre to begin their U17 Africa Cup of Nations preparations.

This training camp will run from 1-12 February 2021.

One of our very own, Abram Mashele, is part of the squad as a defender. He and the squad are preparing to be one of the two COSAFA teams to take part at the u17 junior AFCON tournament alongside Zambia in this 14th Edition of the continental showpiece scheduled from 13 – 31 March 2021 in Morocco.

Mashele stated out his football in our very own backyard. he was noticed as a developing star at Mighty Stars Football Club. He proceeded to join Mountain Movers Football Club where his football art got to be noticed further. He is now with the Supersport United development and also has been included in the Amajimbos squad.

As the Association, we would like to wish him well in is journey. May he achieve the dreams that he set for himself. He must know that as the association, and as the community we will always support him.

We trust he will keep the fire burning by continuing to work hard, remain disciplined, choose his friends carefully, stay away from partying, alcohol and drugs.

We also trust that he will keep the development and promotional circle running by coming back to inspire those he left behind to work harder and smarter.

We trust that Mighty Stars sees its role in the bigger picture and may they continue to craft their strategic thrust around discovery of talent. May they see this role clearly in the ecosystem of football development and grow in it as a development club.

Similarly to Mountain Movers, we wish them the best in their promotional endeavours. May they see that the have been and remain the beacon of hope for talent especially from the west of Pheli, and especially from intermediate to senior football. May they see their potential to transcend raw talent into established talent ready for the professional levels. May they continue to expose talent to the big clubs.

To Supersport United, we trust they will continue to dig deeper in the belly of Pheli for talent. It is our vision that they be the representation of talent from Pheli, and not just playing in Pheli. We support them and may our partnership grow to produce bigger and greater things.

Let every Member of PLFA take an opportunity to wish Abram Mashele well as he trains with Amajimbos.
