The PLFA Super League will resume on the 27th of March 2021. The fixture prepared by Senior Football Officer, Mr. Sathekge is published in this link: https://plfa.org.za/competitions/superleague/.
The fixture will still be approved by the Executive Committee on the 22nd of March 2021.
The Player Registration for Super League is now active on https://mysafa.net/. The Office is in the process of sending information about club officials who need to have access to self-register players.
The week starting on the 22nd of March will be an involving league as the following must be achieved:
- The Fixture must be approved and communicated to all stakeholders;
- Access to MySAFA must be provided to all Participants;
- Super League players must be registered before they play;
- Payments for the Registration Fee must be completed, or at least official arrangements be made with the Treasurer; and
- Compliance Officers being put into motion as compliance requirements will be strict throughout the season. Clubs who fail to comply will face disciplinary charges.
The league will run for only one round, and as such, Registration Fees will be reduced for all Super League teams. This will be reduced from R3,920.00 to R1,960.00. This makes it easier for both the association to complete the league on time before the regional play-offs, and for clubs to pay their registration fees in full and quicker.
We are looking at the Junior Leagues kicking off from the 10th of April.
The season has earnestly begun.
