Phelindaba Local Football Association is gearing itself to hold its biggest event ever. The Marketing team is currently planning the hosting of a Gala Event on the 27th of October 2018.
The purpose of the event is mainly to raise funds. However, profoundly, the event will also help the association to make in-roads into asserting its relevance in the community of Phelindaba, and thus raising its profile, and improving its chances of building its critical mass therein.
The project is led by PLFA’s 2nd Vice Chairperson, Ms Sheila Lehlabi.
Ms Lehlabi is a well known figure in football circles locally, regionally and provincially. She is the longest serving member in the PLFA EXCO structure. She has made and continues to make her contribution with Women Football. Ms Lehlabi is responsible for the leadership in the highly successful PLFA 2017 Award Ceremony that was held this year in February. She is now leading us towards the biggest ever event.
We are currently consulting with well known figures in football and some prominent people who originate from Phelindaba to feature as either Programme Directors, as Special Guests and Key Note Speakers. Progress on this will be communicated in due course.
The committee will be ready in two weeks of so to announce the event officially, and to start with the invitations. The seats will be sold per level of table, these being Platinum, Gold, and Silver.
