2022 Ordinary Congress – Phelindaba Local Football Association

Ordinary Congress 2022 was held on January 22, 2022, at the Mbolekwa Hall. It was the end of the term of the Executive Committee led by Sizwe Nkosi, whose members at the time were Setumo Kgotyane, Lebo Lefhiedi, Mapitsa Poopedi, Ronald Mogoroga, Zakhele Ntuli, Godfrey Mahlatsi, Magezi Honwani, and Francinah Lebelo.

The Executive Committee proposed that the following Members be suspended due to NOT complying
with their membership obligations as set out in Article 11.1.4 of the association’s statutes. The proposal was accepted.

The Executive Committee proposed that one member be expelled due to not complying with its membership obligations as set out in Article 11.1.4 of the Constitution of the association.

The Executive Committee dismissed the Vice-Secretary due to poor performance, where opportunities to improve were extended but to no avail.

This document is a representation of the annual audited financial statements for the year 2021. The audits were carried out by Nameng Incorporated, duly accredited by the relevant bodies in the financial and auditing profession, and properly appointed by PLFA to audit its books.

The Executive Committee presented a proposal for the appointment of Nameng Inc., Chartered Accountants, as the auditors of the association for two years.

This document is a representation of the budget and the income projections. Based on the income and expenditure of 2021, the approach was used as the most practical to not over budget and project.

The amendment to the Constitution to restructure the Executive Committee by removing the Vice-Secretary and adding the Talent Management role

The Executive proposed to the Congress for transparent and driven support of a nomination of Mr. Ngoako Piet Mohlabeng to SAFA Presidency for the upcoming SAFA Elective Congress.

The following documents were shared to demonstrate the transparency in the nomination process for the election of the new Executive Committee.

The elections did not take place and were scheduled for a later date.
