Roles
- Recruitment of clubs from all corners of the association’s jurisdiction to join the association;
- Establishment and maintenance of relations with the gambling football clubs with an aim of attracting them into association football;
- Management of the operations of the leagues of the association in accordance with the Rules and the Annual Calendar of the Association;
- Management of the operations of the competitions of the association, both insourced and outsourced, in accordance with the Rules and Annual Calendar of the Association;
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a Leagues and Competitions Committee that will manage and operate competitive football within the association.
- Establish and lead a Leagues and Competitions Forum that will govern and be a platform for communicating official business of competitive football within the association.
- Manage the operation of Junior Football Leagues in accordance with the Rules and Annual Calendar of the association. These are:
- Under 11 League;
- Under 13 League; and
- Under 15 League.
- Manage the operation of Intermediary Football Leagues in accordance with the Rules and Annual Calendar of the association. These are:
- Under 17 League; and
- Under 19 League.
- Manage the operation of Senior Football Leagues in accordance with the Rules and Annual Calendar of the association. These are:
- Promotional League; and
- Super League.
- Run insourced competitions in accordance with the Rules of the Association and the Annual Calendar.
- Monitor and guide outsourced competitions in accordance with the Rules of the Association and the Annual Calendar.
- Oversee non-calendar competitions hosted by non-partners in accordance with the Rules of the Association.
- Engage with non-association / gambling football clubs in order to interest them in association football
- Attract communities in areas where there is no football activities to football through creating opportunities to play.
- Manage any challenges, issues or risks that could not be resolved or mitigated and require higher authority.
- Provide any recommendations to the Executive Committee on resolving some of the challenges and difficulties, or any opportunity to improve on something to do with the Facilities Management function.
