As the Deadline Draws Closer

As the deadline for the payment of the debts by the Members of Phelindaba Local Football Association draws closer, Members are reminded to take action, else they will be adversely affected.

The Ordinary Congress resolved as follows:

  1. All outstanding debts by Members to be paid in full by 28 February 2019;
  2. No Teams, Players and / or Officials must be registered for any Member (including Super League for Players and Officials) unless the Membership Fees and overdue Debts are paid in full;
  3. The month February to be used for Pre-Season Competitions, and Registration of Teams, Players and Officials by completing the following forms:
  4. FORM C2 – Leagues and Competitions Delegate;
  5. FORM C3 – Referees Forum Delegates (Minimum 3 Forms);
  6. FORM C4 – Technical and Development Forum Delegates;
  7. FORM C5 – Football Stakeholder Forum Delegates (for the Higher League Affiliates and Associate Members);
  8. All Members who have not complied with the above to be suspended as from the 1st of March 2019, to be fined for failing to carry out a reasonable instructions, and the interest on their debts to be imposed as prescribed in the Treasury Policy;
  9. Suspended Members who are unable to remedy their non-compliance within month of suspension (March 2019) to be put on expulsion as per the provisions of Article 50 of the Constitution, for which an Extra-Ordinary Congress must be convened for April / May to consider and resolve on such expulsions.

Members who are struggling to meet their financial obligations are urged to make the appointment with the Treasurer to utilise the provisions of the Treasury Policy to make arrangements. Members making arrangements must note that should they fail to honour their commitments as per the agreed arrangements will not longer be given further opportunities to make arrangements, and that the conditions as stipulated here-above will be applied on them without fail.

Currently, the association is being owed just under R45,000.00. This includes amounts from 2017.

Members are also urged to ensure that their registrations are completed as soon as possible. Registration forms and information are obtainable on this link: www.plfa.org.za/office/registration.

The Executive Committee will do the best it can to support Members who want to comply.
